My story

Rex is a sweet and playful 2-year-old terrier mix who’s ready to find his forever home! While he can be a little shy at first, especially with new people, he warms up quickly once he feels comfortable. Rex enjoys offering soft eye contact, especially once he’s settled in and confident, and he loves treats and playtime. Rex is a playful guy who loves his toys, especially ropes and balls. He can get a bit vocal and jumpy during play, but he’s great about trading toys for treats. Rex knows several basic cues, including sit, down, paw, stay, and come, but he does pull on the lead and will benefit from continued leash training. He’s friendly but cautious with strangers and will need some time to warm up to new people. Rex would do best in a home with older kids (16+), and he’ll thrive in an environment where he feels safe and secure.
