My story

** Bear is currently in a foster home, and he is available for adoption. Email applications@chicagocaninerescue.org to set up a meet + greet! **Bear is a big, gentle pup with an even bigger heart. While he might look like a tough guy, he’s really just a sweet, well-mannered companion who’s ready to find his people.He’s been such a respectful resident at the shelter—he keeps his kennel tidy, doesn’t tear up his bedding, and greets each day with a calm, steady energy. Bear loves his toys (especially stuffies, bones, and Kongs!) and enjoys playing and relaxing in equal measure.He’s also done well with most other dogs and could be a great fit for a home with another friendly pup. Add in his soft eyes, good manners, and affectionate nature, and you’ve got a dog who’s truly special.Bear has allergies, and we are working to resolve his ear issues.
