My story

Hello! My name is Grand Piano, I am a 6 year old, neutered male, short-haired cat. I was part of a feral colony and brought to MaxFund for an injury December 2024, now I am looking for my fur-ever home!I am very scared and nervous, since I was a stray I have not yet learned that people are nice and I might hiss at you. I need someone who will be patient with me and give me the time and space I need to feel comfortable and come out of my shell. If you do come to meet me, please go slowly and be gentle, let me approach you. I may open up more over time, once I get used to the shelter environment.I haven`t met any dogs or kids, I was around other stray cats but I am not yet sure how I would do in a home with them. If you have kids, you can bring them to meet me! If you have a dog, the shelter staff can test me with a MaxFund dog and see how I do.I am not medically cleared for adoption quite yet, but you can still come meet me! If you think I would be a good fit for your home, please come to the shelter to meet me!The shelter hours are Sunday - Monday, & Wednesday - Saturday (Closed Tuesday) 9:30 - 4:30, Closed 12:00 - 1:00 for lunch.
