My story

Kaveri is ready to party. But not until she knows you. Don't worry it only takes once for her to feel comfortable. Kaveri can be a bit of tough girl when strangers approach her kennel. Scary places will do that so we didn't take offence. Kaveri is worth the slower start. She is a total hoot on her second date. Kaveri loves toys, loves watching the other people and dogs in the yard, and loves to be silly. She knows some commands and leans in for pets. Came in as a stray on 11/15/24 Found near 7500 S Indiana, Chicago *Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL *The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID. *All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs. *Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
