It’s Milton’s signature move—his way of saying, “You’re mine now, human.” One moment you’re sitting peacefully, and the next, you’ve got 60 lbs of pure love and snuggles landing squarely in your lap. There’s no escaping it. But honestly, why would you want to?Milton is a sweet, soulful pup who starts off a little shy. He takes his time sizing up new people, but beneath that cautious exterior is a total marshmallow who just wants to be loved. His secret dream? To become a full-time lapdog. And we suspect he might just be the most snuggly dog in the whole shelter—but don’t tell the others.He’s dog-friendly (he even came in with a buddy), food-motivated (bribery works like a charm), and an absolute sucker for head scratches, pup cups, and car rides. Once he’s had his fill of sniffing around the yard for the day’s best scents, he’ll come rest his head on your lap like the gentleman he is, gently asking for love and reassurance.Milton`s ideal home is one that understands that love sometimes takes a little time—but once you’re in his circle, you`re there for life. He’s loyal, goofy, and has a heart bigger than his bark (which, by the way, now mostly means “please give me a treat”).If you’re looking for a companion who will make you laugh, snuggle you senseless, and sneak into your heart one lap tackle at a time—Milton is your guy.Come meet him.
