My story

NAME, GENDER, AGE WEIGHT & BREED NAME: RED GENDER: MALE AGE: 3 YEARS WEIGHT: 70-75 POUNDS BREED: GERMAN SHEPHERD MIX (IRISH SHEPHERD) LOCATION: Alabama Gulf Coast ADOPTION FEE: $550.00 (includes transport) EMAIL: For more information about this dog, contact email: ausmanlou@gmail.com EMAIL & APPLICATION LINK EMAIL: For more information about this dog, contact: RescueDogVillage@yahoo.com APPLICATION: If this dog has stolen your heart, don't wait! Please apply online now to be consideded as a potential adopter. PLEASE NOTE: All the information about this dog is in the bio. If you have not summited an application and are waiting for a response from us by email, please understand that applications are coming in every day and are being processed ahead of you. Therefore, the longer you wait for questions to be answered, the less your chances are. In addition, as home life and rescue put the needs of our rescue dogs first, we regret that we were not able to get back to you. *** RED COAT (VERY SILKY)*** NEUTERED *** CHIPPED*** FULLY VETTED *** LEASH, HOUSE AND BASIC COMMAND TRAINED Our organization is very pleased to post for adoption an extremely handsome, young (3yrs), energetic, super happy, German shepherd mix that goes by the name of Red. We call this guy a, with tongue in cheek, our Irish shepherd. Red will melt anyone on first meeting with his happy face, hilarious antics, love sponge attitude and his wide-open approach to life. Our boy had a rough start but has quickly pushed that aside, opting instead to embrace life with gusto and love. As the trainer for Red, I can tell you without hesitation that he moves, trains and carries himself like a very well-bred German shepherd. Red has been tested with children, other dogs and adult humans, he loves them all. Our boy is blessed with great symmetry, perfect stride and a super handsome all Red coat. As far as extra strong positive characteristics, Red runs like the wind, has instant command recall and is always ready to love on someone. We put all of our dogs through socialization and training programs and as you might expect Red knocked it out of the ballpark. Key results of these programs for Red is that he excelled, with a strong desire to please, strong desire to train, super interaction skills with both humans and other dogs, great demeanor and a strong but in control protective instinct. Red has it all and will fit in famously with a loving family that has the time to continue his training and the time to give him proper exercise.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Red, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
