Maroon

My story

Meet Maroon! He`s an eager-to-please pooch that has been practicing sit, shake and come. He is also working on crate training and good walking habits. He`d love to continue practicing these things and learn new things with you! He can be a bit nervous of new situations and people but given a chance to trust and settle in, he blossoms into the most loving, playful dog. Maroon believes he is a lap dog and wants to snuggle often. Since he is unaware of his size, he will do best in a home without young children as he might be a bit much at times. He doesn`t jump on furniture or beds, but could be trained if that`s something you`re into. Maroon is an energetic adolescent whose favorite hobbies include squirrel watching/chasing, chewing, and playing tag. Sometimes he can get too excited and will need encouragement to make good decisions and take breaks. At this time, he needs a home without other dogs as he is uncertain about those interactions. However, he is showing potential in his foster home that he may be open to learning how to make doggie friends. Maroon is currently living in one of our wonderful foster homes!!
