My story

Meet Ninja! A seven-and-a-half-year-old Domestic Short Hair from The Colony, TX, whose sleek black coat hides a heart full of love, opinions, and the most delightful vocal commentary you've ever heard. At a sturdy 17 pounds, Ninja is a gentle giant who knows exactly what he wants—whether it's a snack, a snuggle, or a prime window seat to keep tabs on the neighborhood birds. He’s got a playful streak that shows up when the wand toys come out or the scent of catnip fills the room, but he’s just as happy lounging like royalty and soaking up your affection. In fact, don’t be surprised if you wake up with him curled up beside you or even stretched out across your back, purring like a motor—his idea of a love letter! One of Ninja’s most endearing traits is his constant communication. This guy doesn’t meow—he converses. Whether he’s hungry, stuck in a room, or simply has a few things on his mind, Ninja will let you know in no uncertain terms. His expressive personality makes every day a little more lively and a lot more heartwarming. Ninja is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations. He’s healthy overall, though he has a tendency to eat a bit too quickly (which sometimes results in a little mess), so slow feeder bowls or meal pacing may help. He’s not one for feline roommates and should be the only cat in his new loving home, where he can reign as the king he truly is! His ideal family will be showering him with love, patience, and plenty of conversation. He needs a caring environment where his affectionate nature is cherished.
