My story

Frostfair is a pretty pibble who initially entered PACC as a stray back in 2019. She found a home, only to return to the shelter as a stray again in December 2024. She is very friendly, and her sweet demeanor has earned her many fans. She has been a day trip and pawjama party favorite and has enjoyed many adventures around town. Here’s what some of her friends have said:“Frostfair loves exploring and getting pets. She did absolutely amazing! She knows how to sit and shake. She is such a lovely baby girl. She loves to play with the tennis ball.”“Frostfair is full of energy in the best way. She’s the perfect cuddle bug. She requires patience and understanding, but overall, she`s a great dog.”“Frostfair is curious about everything and loves giving kisses! She doesn`t react to people, kids, dogs or ducks while out and about!”“I recently had Frostfair over for a pawjama party. She was very well-behaved for me. Once she understood that she had to sit to get attention she got very good at sitting politely. She does love to jump on you for cuddles on the couch but calms down pretty quickly. She did fine in the crate while I was at work and enjoyed going for a run after to get out some energy. She`s potty-trained and learned my schedule quickly.”Frostfair`s most recent adoption lasted only eight days, ending with her return for a 10-day bite quarantine. Her adopter reported that she has a tendency to guard people and had been experiencing issues with the other female dog in the household. During an altercation between the two dogs, the owner attempted to intervene and was unfortunately bitten on the hand. While this incident is certainly concerning, it is highly situational. Despite this incident, Frostfair`s adopters described her as a true couch potato who loves her toys, is reliably crate trained, and likes car rides. They also emphasized her sweet demeanor with people, noting that she takes treats gently and loves to cuddle and give kisses. Frostfair is an affectionate, loving dog who adores and bonds deeply with her people. Frostfair recently recovered from a doggy cold (upper respiratory infection) and is now ready to move on to the next chapter of her life. She is urgently in need of a foster home for at least 30 days, or even better, a permanent adopter who can provide the stability and understanding she deserves. Frostfair has done well with other dogs in the shelter, sharing her kennel polit
