Oakes` Compatibility:Dogs - Meet & GreetCats - Oakes is not a feline fanKids - Best suited for a home with adults (18+) who understand his gentle, sensitive nature.Oakes is a sensitive soul with a heart full of love, just waiting for the right person to see it. He came to us as a stray, and while the world can still feel a little big and overwhelming, he’s learning that people can be pretty wonderful, especially the ones with mini marshmallows! (He’s got impeccable catching skills. Seriously, toss one, and he won’t miss.)This sweet boy already knows a few commands like sit, lay down, roll over, and shake, and he`s eager to keep learning. He just needs a little patience and a lot of kindness as he settles into home life. Because he’s on the shy side, he’s looking for a quieter home with adults who will let him come out of his shell at his own pace.If you have a resident dog, we’d love to set up a meet-and-greet at the shelter to see if they could be a good match. Oakes may take some time to adjust, but once he trusts you, you’ll have a loyal, loving companion who just needed a little extra understanding to shine..
