Sisi

My story

Left without food or water outside in extreme weather. The shelter was a big upgrade for Sisi. She came to us underweight but with regular meals here, Sisi has already started to fill in. She is such a nice dog. Sisi loves toys and will carry one around with her until we offer a treat. She is no dummy so of course she will trade up for food. Sisi is comfortable with all over handling and even sits on chairs with us. Whatever happened in her past isn't stopping Sisi from enjoying her future. Came in as a cruelty confiscate on 11/26/24 *Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL *The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID. *All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs. *Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
