My story

Hi I’m Scarlett! I was found and brought in as a stray. When I first got here I had really bad chemical burns on my face. I was in a lot of pain, and it was really scary being in an unfamiliar place. My fur has started to grow back, and I am becoming more comfortable and confident. I really like to play with my doggy friends and the nice humans who take care of me! Not only do I get along with other dogs and people, but I also really like cats, and playing with little humans too! I love my toys, treats, and nap times. Sometimes I get a little lonely so I will cry, but it’s just because I miss you! I’m very sweet and smart. I even know sit and touch! Please come adopt me, I promise you’ll love me and I will be the best puppy ever! If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
