FIGGY*

My story

Figgy is a bouncy young puppy who loves people and has a zest for life! She spent about a month in a foster home where she was described as VERY wiggly and happy. She did well around the resident cats, was very playful with the resident dog, and was both house and crate trained. Figgy’s foster described her as adorable, snuggly, cute and smart:“Figgy is a quick learner! In 4 weeks, she learned sit and down and we were working on shake. We kept training sessions very short, but she still learns very fast! She is a super wiggle butt!!! Very cute! She enjoys soft toys, tug toys, and playing with the other dog. She is also very treat/food motivated!”At the shelter Figgy is always excited to get out of her kennel for some fresh air and is as playful and happy as you’d expect her to be at just about a year and a half old! She’s easy to handle, fun to walk, and even more fun to cuddle with in a play yard. During a public walking event, Figgy was described as friendly, lovely, and SUPER treat motivated. Here`s what some of her volunteer friends have said:“Sweet Figgy greeted me with excitement, was easy to leash, and exited the kennel with ease. We made a lap around the lake, sniffing all things as the sun set. Figgy is gentle and great on the leash, unless she spots a critter- she may pull to investigate. She seemed interested in other passing dogs but did not react.”“Figgy is a happy, bouncy girl and a lot of fun to spend time with. She is very friendly and definitely still a puppy. She’s energetic and will do great in a home where she can learn some skills and have plenty of enrichment. Figgy has done great with kennelmates, is fairly good on leash, and is a very good girl overall!”So, if you’re looking for an active little friend to join you on life’s adventures, look no further! Figgy has shared her kennel politely with a variety of roommates and has been playful, social and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup.
