My story

Meet Aramis, a stunning 3.5-year-old blue Doberman with a heart as big as his ears! This handsome pup is searching for a loving forever family. With his sleek, steel-blue color and soulful eyes, he turns heads wherever he goes. But beyond his striking looks, he’s a loyal and affectionate companion who loves to be by your side. He’s intelligent, eager to learn, and enjoys mental stimulation, making him a great candidate for continued training. Aramis is energetic and would do well in a home that can provide regular exercise and playtime. He enjoys playing fetch with a tennis ball, romping in the yard, and interactive toys that challenge his sharp mind. He thrives outdoors and does classic Doberman-style play. He responds well to a training collar on beeper mode, is a wizard at puzzles and greatly enjoys the stimulation. With his habit of wanting to wander and explore and also having a high prey drive we are requiring that he be placed with an adopter that has a physical fenced in yard.  Like a typical Doberman, he forms deep bonds with his people and would love a forever family that provides plenty of attention and companionship. Aramis does well with children, although he’s a big boy who doesn’t always watch where he’s walking so he could accidently knock over younger children. Older children are recommended. He already knows basic commands like “wait”, “lay down”, “come”, and “kennel up”, and is crate trained. He enjoys his baths, training treats, and snuggle time. His ideal forever family would be experienced with large breeds or willing to learn about Doberman-specific needs. Our foster families are generally located within a 250 mile radius of Minneapolis, MN.
