My story

This 6-year-old Husky is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly! At 65 pounds, Bandit is a large, playful, and sweet boy who is ready to be your partner in crime. He is always ready to cuddle up to you and he'll let you know—he's happy to paw at you or nudge your arm with his nose to get your attention!Like many Huskies, Bandit has plenty of energy and would thrive with multiple walks or play sessions daily. He enjoys gnawing on bones or teething toys, and matches the energy of younger dogs during playtime. Despite his high energy, he’s calm and relaxed when it’s just him. Bandit has had great experiences with other dogs and with children. He is friendly and has previously lived with multiple children, so he makes for a great family dog! While his behavior with cats is unknown, Bandit is generally good-natured and adaptable.He’s crate-trained, comfortable spending time there when needed, and occasionally naps in his crate voluntarily. He is house-trained, and stays calm and respectful with belongings when home alone. Bandit is also a classic Husky escape artist, so he will require a secure, fenced yard to ensure his safety.This cuddly, energetic Husky is ready for a family who can provide him with the exercise, training, and love he needs to thrive. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.
