My story

Hi, I’m Ruby! I’m a laid-back girl who’s all about good company — whether it’s my people, kiddos, or other friendly dogs. I’m not really into cats (or those pesky squirrels and bunnies), but give me some human friends and a dog buddy, and I’m one happy camper! Some of my favorite things? Oh, just the simple joys: going for walks, hopping in the car for errands, chilling on a patio with my people and fur friends, and soaking up the sun in the backyard. I’m also a big fan of enrichment games — give me a puzzle with treats, and you’ll see my brain go to work. It’s kinda my thing! I'm crate trained (though I might grumble a little at first — what can I say, I have opinions) but once I settle in, I’m good to go. I do have one little quirk I’m working on... sometimes I chew things I shouldn’t. Oops. But I’m learning, and having a good stash of Nylabones definitely helps keep me on the right track! And hey, when I’ve been an especially good girl (which is pretty often, if I say so myself), belly rubs are the best reward ever. If you’re looking for a sweet, low-energy family dog who would love a doggy friend, a few adventures, and a cozy spot in your heart (and maybe on your patio), I’m your girl.
