Shades

My story

Shades is a velvety little nugget of a girl—sweet, playful, and full of love once she trusts you. We rescued her from a local shelter where she was at risk due to an isolated incident involving a visitor entering her previous home unexpectedly. While in the shelter’s care, Shades never had any issues and spent a lot of time in the office, happily hanging out and loving all of the attention from staff. She’s now safe with one of our wonderful fosters and is patiently waiting for her forever home. Shades will thrive in a calm, adult-only environment. She does need to be the only dog in the home, as she is dog selective. She does extremely well with cats, and is crate and house trained. Now that she’s settling into her foster home, we are able to really learn how she does in a home setting. Let’s get this girl the happy ending she deserves!only environment.
