My story

ABOUT CALISTA Meet our 6-year-old calico girl, Calista! She came to HAP when her owner was no longer able to care for her. Calista was a little timid at first, but has opened up and her confidence blossomed! She is a talkative lady, always letting you know how her day is going or what's been on her mind. She enjoys the occasional head pet or chin scratch when she's feeling affectionate. When she's not exploring, she can usually be found marking biscuits, enjoying a nap, or lounging by our kitchen in hopes of finding a snack! She prefers being the queen of our cat room, occasionally bossing around her feline friends for the highest spot on her favorite tower. If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
