My story

You've heard the story of the old woman who lived in a shoe. This is the story of Crispi, the senior cat who wants to come home with you. Crispi is a beautiful calico with a heart as warm as her soft, vibrant fur. She's so sweet that she'd rather socialize than eat. In fact, Crispi purrs softly when you scratch her head and frequently flops over for belly rubs. Want a cat who is always eager to see you? Crispi will meet you at the door, rub against your leg and serenade you in her loud, gravely voice. Her foster described the sound as crispy, hence her name. Unlike some cats, Crispi is great about using her scratching posts and leaving the furniture alone. She prefers playing with her mouse-on-a-string toy and her automated chirping bird. Her foster thinks that, although Crispi is seemingly deaf, she may be able to hear some of the bird's higher notes. Crispi has other abilities as well. She's a computer wiz, talented enough to find keyboard shortcuts in her sleep. Once, while napping on her foster's warm keyboard, she even turned off the wi-fi. Can your mother do that? We think not. Crispi would be happiest as the only cat in a calm, peaceful household. She dreams of a forever home where she'd be the center of attention, surrounded by love and kindness.
