My story

Meet Grover, the mild-mannered, easygoing pup who’s as sweet as they come! This young adult dog is the perfect mix of independent explorer and affectionate companion. He enjoys the company of other dogs, walks nicely on a leash, and takes treats with the utmost gentleness.Grover loves attention from people but is just as happy trotting around the yard, sniffing out hidden treasures (like forgotten treats!). His laid-back nature makes him a great match for many families, and he’s ready to find one of his very own. Could that be yours?~~~~~The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon until 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilco.org. Interested in fostering a dog in need? You can take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours, giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time.
