My story

Meet Jasper – Your Next Adventure Buddy! 🐾 Say hello to Jasper, a spirited adolescent pup with a heart full of love and legs made for adventure! This handsome boy is always up for a game of fetch, a long hike, or just zooming around the yard — and he’s looking for an active, dog-savvy home that can keep up with his energy and enthusiasm. Jasper is very friendly, playful, and walks beautifully on leash, making him a great companion for outdoor lovers. He gets along well with other dogs and loves having canine playdates to help burn off some of that teenage energy. Because Jasper can get overstimulated and mouthy when he's excited (he is still learning his manners, after all!), he's best suited for an adult-only home with people who have experience working with young, high-energy dogs. He’s super smart and eager to please, so continued training will go a long way in helping him grow into the well-mannered pup he’s destined to be. To set Jasper up for success, trainer Lizzy Flanagan — who has previously worked with him — has generously offered to donate scholarships to Recall for a Meatball, Triumphant Teens, and an initial consultation to help his new adopters get settled and on the right track. A fenced-in yard is a must for this guy — he loves to run and play, and needs a safe space to do so.
