My story

Meet Katrina! Katrina is an absolute delight. She very quickly comes out of her shell and is a cuddly, affectionate gal who loves attention- especially belly rubs! She loves to be brushed, but does require some special care with grooming; due to being overweight, she is unable to reach her back end to clean herself. This will require regular wiping of her back end and keeping her fur cut in that area, but this will just be maintenance. She has been groomed and bathed so keeping her clean has been pretty easy! She’s a little sensitive around her hips, so she’ll let you know if she doesn’t like something, but never hisses or bites- just meows. Her foster mom has been working on her weight loss with portion control and Katrina has been doing great.She LOVES treats, sunbathing, cat TV, being pet, and taking naps with her human. She will sit on your lap while you do just about anything and is happy to be there, purring nonstop. Having her around has been such a joy. Katrina does have early kidney disease that is common with age. She is also litter box trained and knows to only scratch on her scratching post.
