My story

Meet Daisy! Daisy is a beautiful 3-year-old, 45-pound Black Mouth Cur mix with a heart full of love and energy to share. She adores dogs and kids, making her a perfect addition to a lively home! This sun-loving girl enjoys lounging outside, running around, and car rides—even after her recent surgery, she handled the trip like a champ. Daisy’s playful nature shines brightest with her fur brother, though she sometimes forgets to pace herself when he’s ready for a break. She’s still learning that not every dog appreciates her enthusiastic jumping, but her excitement is all part of her charm. Daisy is potty trained, knows how to sit, and sleeps soundly through the night in her crate—even if she’d rather keep playing at first! During the day, she’ll sometimes choose to nap there on her own. She’s learning leash manners, but her zest for life makes outdoor adventures very exciting, so she’s working on not pulling so much. She absolutely loves being petted, though she might get a little jealous if another dog gets attention first. Her response? Big, loving eyes that earn her pets every time. When she met her foster mom’s grandsons, Daisy was all wiggles and kisses, showing how much she adores kids. Daisy loves toys but sometimes thinks anything on the floor is fair game—she’s learning to tell the difference. If you’re looking for a sweet, spirited, and affectionate companion who thrives in an active family, Daisy is ready to bring sunshine and love to your home! You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours (Monday-Friday).

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Daisy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
