My story

Dearest Student, Your sensitivity is a beautiful thing. You show us how to clear other dogs for play groups and you show the other dogs how to be dogs. You are an excellent helper when we are training new volunteers to walk dogs. Your patience with human students is wide and generous. Your gaze can go right through a person, straight to the heart and that is why you are the favorite of many here at MCASAC. We think you know far more than you have shown us, and your new family will be so fortunate to learn from your wisdom. We don’t know your past, but we see how you navigate in the present with so much thought in everything you do. We see how you closely observe your surroundings and figure things out. We know the shelter is stressful for you, and you don’t show well in the kennel that keeps you confined. Yet, you persevere. We will do all we can to find your forever home. You are not only our very best Student, but you are also our very best teacher. Student is a dog playgroup rockstar and a fantastic leash buddy. He is a volunteer favorite and a mentor for new volunteers.
