My story

Chill, Lazy, Quiet Introducing Pedro Pascal! This big but rather reserved and calm gentleman is not so interested in playtime but he is VERY interested in hanging out with you! He’ll even be your designated bathroom chaperone if you’d like. He’s definitely a proximity cat who wants to be near you but not in your face in your bed. While he’ll accept pets, he’s not a big fan of being held. One of the cutest things about this guy is, despite being a big, heavy boy, he meows like a little baby! Very quiet, very demure, all adorable. Pedro likes to be with other cats and he’s had positive experiences with low-energy dogs and kids who respect his need for space. He is a cat that can be on his own and he’s not demanding at all. While he’s not the most affectionate kitty, his foster describes him as zero aggressive. Some kitties prefer to be independent, which is perfectly valid. He’d be happy with someone who likes to hang out at home, optimally, a chill kitty friend. Besides using a scratcher, Pedro Pascal prefers being a lazy housecat where he can sleep or hang out to his heart’s content. He’s definitely a kitty who prefers the simple, mellow life. Sounds good to us, honestly! Pedro Pascal has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It’s a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, “FeLVies” are just like any other cat. APA! provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Pedro Pascal can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We’d love to talk with you about FeLV care.
