My story

If you’re looking for the perfect companion, this charming guy is the one for you! He arrived at PACC after being found by a kind-hearted person – we’re thankful he’s safe but we’re sad to see him back in the shelter.Volunteers adore this big, goofy lug and have described him as joyful, playful, lovable, calm and easy. Some recent comments about him include: “Sheldon is amazing and is always so well mannered.” “He’s a wonderful mix of lively combined with mellow.” “His upbeat personality rubs off on everyone who meets him.”Here are just a few of the many great things about this good boy:-He`s super friendly and social-He`s smart and knows sit, down, and come-He`s easy to leash up, handle, and walk-He loves treats and takes them very gently-He`s well-mannered and tolerant and is perfectly content doing whatever his person is doing-He’s an excellent couch potato.-He loves people and gives the best slobbery kisses.-His big, adorable smile lights up a room.Sheldon even spends a few days a week at the offsite location of PACC’s rescuer partner, Tucson Rescue Now. Here’s what they said:“Sheldon is a nice senior guy. He is so lovable; he enjoys his naps--alone or with a friend, and likes his walks. He loves to meet new people and while he may look old and slow--give him a ball to chase and he is off to the races!”Sheldon has shared his kennel politely and may like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. He’ll thrive in a quiet home where he can spend plenty of time going for easy walks, lounging on comfy beds, snacking on good food and, of course, being totally pampered by his person.
