Lottie's adoption fee has been fully covered by a generous supporter, and OPH is including six virtual training sessions with a certified trainer during the first 60 days to help set you both up for success!MEET LOTTIE - The Sweetest Peach From Georgia! You’ll Love Her Expressive Eyes and Her Gleaming Black Coat Highlighted in Gold.Name: LottieGender: FemaleAge: 1 year old. Exact DOB unknownWeight: 35 poundsBreed: Mixed breedCurrent location: Centreville, VAPERSONALITY: Lottie is a sweet and super-affectionate girl with loads of energy and charm.SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONSLottie would love to become part of an active family who will take her on hikes, long walks and other adventures. Although she is full of energy, she does settle down nicely when it’s time to be home. Lottie has a fan at a pet boutique in Alexandria, VA who has pledged to provide Lottie's adopters with three free training sessions and a year of free food - four 25-pound bags - for this special girl.SEE ME IN ACTION! (Click here to see me shopping for my treats!) (Click here to see me rolling in the grass!COMPANIONSHIPLottie adores people and she quickly makes a new friend from every person she meets. She gets along with other dogs too, but she especially loves her humans and she really loves being the center of attention. TRAINING AND LEARNING Lottie is house trained. Lottie does well on a leash but because she exudes enthusiasm, she is still working on her leash skills. This smart girl loves her treats and that helps while teaching her new things but she is full of puppy energy which sometimes challenges her ability to focus. She would love to continue learning in her new home. Lottie will go into her crate to fetch a favorite toy or a Kong. She is fine in her crate as long as her humans are near her. She is ready for her new family to help her become more confident and comfortable in her crate on her own. On car rides, Lottie is usually really quiet without complaint. TRAITS AND IDEAL HOMELottie is gaining confidence but for now, she prefers not to be alone so she would thrive in a family where there is usually someone home. She is looking forward to having a loving human guide her as she learns more and grows into her best self. While a yard would be great for Lottie, she loves exploring the sights and smells on walks so a yard isn't required.LOVE AND AFFECTIONLottie loves being with people and giving kisses. She also loves to play with toys. With Nylabones or squeaky toys, she is great at keeping herself entertained. She is happy to cuddle on the couch next to her humans, or sometimes just curl up by herself. She is not picky about who pets her and will welcome the attention from anyone, whether you are rubbing her ears, chin or belly. If you’re looking for an affectionate, active, and fun-loving companion, Lottie’s ready to brighten your life with her kisses and charm!Included Veterinary Care:Visit to Veterinarian: Health certificate includedVaccinations: Up to date for her ageSpay/NeuteredMicrochippedHeartworm PreventativeFlea and Tick PreventativeWorm/Parasite Treatments
