My story

Hello, future best friend, I’m Hugo! I’m a 4-year-old AMbully with a heart of gold, but my brain sometimes overthinks. 🧠✨ I’m not your typical dog—I take a little time to warm up to new people, but once I trust you, you’ll be in for a wild ride of goofiness and fun. We like to call it the Hugo Show! 🎬 I’m all about silly antics that will keep you laughing for hours! I’m great with older kids and cats—so if you’ve got a family, I’ll fit right in and make us all smile. 😸👦 But here’s the deal: I’m a little wary of strangers at first. One day, a new person hurt me very badly, so I'm slow to trust because I worry it will happen again. The nice people here say it won't... so they help me make lots of new friends. I just need some time and patience to get to know you before I can give you my heart (which, by the way, is HUGE). ❤️ Once we’ve built that bond, you’ll see the real me: a playful, goofy guy who LOVES to have fun. I can be a little much for some dogs (I have a lot of energy), so if you have other dogs, they need to be able to handle my playful nature and keep up with the fun. 🐾 If you’re patient, kind, and ready to build a connection, I promise to your ride or die. Let’s start this journey together, and I promise you’ll love every moment of the Hugo Show! 💫
