Flash

My story

Flash was very feral when he first arrived. He came to us with his buddy Batman, the larger of the two, weighs around 20 lbs, while Flash is about 10 lbs. They are between 2 to 3 years old and have made incredible progress since coming into our care. While they are still nervous around people, they are mirroring the behavior of the more friendly dogs around them, and their confidence is growing every day. These two adventurers love to explore and are known to climb the Ash tree in my backyard and chase squirrels. They enjoy the freedom of having access to a dog door and a crate, but they can be chewers. They are generally good with other dogs, and having a friendly dog in the home to lead the way would help them feel even more comfortable. Though he is still hesitant about being handled, we are working with him through hand feeding and gentle petting to help them overcome their fear. He will need a very patient foster home or adoptor who can continue to build trust and confidence. If you are someone with the time, patience, and experience to help guide this sweet boy, we would be forever grateful. Batman and Flash can go to the same home, but are not a bonded pair. ##2262832##
