My story

Please note: Henry is in a foster home and not physically at the shelter. Just look at this face with the soulful eyes and forehead wrinkles. Meet Henry. Henry is a male bea-bull (beagle and bulldog) that weighs 39 pounds. He is 1 yr old. His DOB is 2-19-24. Henry came to us as an owner surrender through no fault of his own. Henry is ALL puppy. He is a friendly and happy boy that would be a great co-pilot in the car. He loves to be around people and other dogs. He has a high energy level and would love an active family to take him on outings, hikes in the park and runs. He is particularly fond of squeaky toys and chew toys. He can entertain himself. He would benefit having another dog in the home to help teach him the ropes. He has a rambunctious play style so a like-minded dog would be great. Cat compatibility is unknown. Henry is potty trained but in a new home, may have occasional accidents. Henry would enjoy having a person home often because he doesn't like to be alone for too long. When Henry sees people, he gets excited and likes to jump on people. For that reason, we are asking for older teens and up. In the home, Henry likes to counter-surf so general obedience training is recommended. Henry is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped.
