My story

Lucy’s been living her best foster life since New Year’s Eve 2024 (yes, she rang in the new year with a resolution to thrive), and now she’s ready to upgrade to a forever family. This spunky gal has come a long way- from surviving some rough beginnings to learning how to couch surf like a pro. When Lucy first arrived, she wasn’t sure what to make of humans or this whole "indoor dog" thing (toilets? carpets? ceiling fans? WHAT IS THIS MAGIC?!). But with a lot of love and some tasty treats, she’s realized people are actually pretty great... especially the ones who hand out belly rubs. Now? She’s a cuddle enthusiast, a pro at shadowing her favorite human, and an all-around sweetheart. However, don’t let her soft side fool you! this girl knows how to party. She's got energy to spare and would love a home with one or two doggy siblings to zoom around with. Think of her as the fun aunt who shows up with snacks and never turns down a game of tag. Leash walking? She’s still figuring it out. It’s more of a “fun wiggly dance” right now. But a fenced-in yard? Oh yes. That’s her jam. Give her space to run, roll, and zoom, and she’ll show you what happiness looks like. Potty training? She's got the hang of it and will politely remind you when it's time for her outdoor business trip. Crates? Let’s just say she tolerates it. She’s not throwing a party in there, but she’ll go along with it- especially if food’s involved (because food = life). She even dines in her crate so the other dogs don’t get jealous of her gourmet tastes. What's better? She’s also got a PhD in Toyology. Bones, squeaky toys, random socks... if she can chew it or toss it around, she’s a fan. Lucy is looking for a patient, understanding family who can keep up with her playful side, appreciate her soft side, and cheer her on as she continues to blossom into the happy, confident dog she’s meant to be. As long as you have no pocket pets, shes all in! Ready to add some fun, fluff, and four-legged fabulousness to your life? Lucy’s ready to meet you!
