Rigby *VIP*

My story

Meet Rigby, an adult dog with a heart full of love. He weighs 40 pounds, is moderately active, and can be quite talkative. Yet, he also has a mellow side, offering a calming presence when you need it most. Despite his initial shyness, Rigby eventually warms up, showcasing his gentle, cuddly nature. He is a sweet, playful companion who loves to be around other dogs but has limited experience with children. Though he can be a bit noisy, his easygoing personality more than makes up for it. Rigby has lived outside in his first home so adjusting to a new home environment may take a little time. Please be patient as he is learning the ropes of indoor living, so he needs a bit of training. He`ll need your help with house training and leash walking. He can be nervous in new situations, but with a calm, patient owner, he will surely blossom. Adopt Rigby and let his love and loyalty fill your home with warmth and happiness. (tw 5/10/2025)Foster notes: Rigby has warmed up significantly to indoor living. He is still working on being house trained but with a yard and some consistency, I know this smart boy will be able to learn to potty outside. He learned `sit` in only a day! He loves hard chew toys and anything with a squeaker he can tear open. We`ve noticed that he does better when he has multiple activities home alone (snuffle mats, long-lasting chews, and frozen kongs) to keep him busy to avoid him chewing on things he shouldn`t. He LOVES dogs but, just like people, he takes a minute to warm up. One walk around the block with another pup will have him making fast friends!
