When I first arrived at my foster home, let’s just say I was....a lot. A little anxious, a tad dramatic, and slightly confused about why I wasn’t running my own kingdom. But thanks to some firm love (and a lot of snacks), I’ve had a total glow-up. Now, I’m a fun, vocal, and playful girl who loves her people and has discovered the joy of a good belly rub and barking at….absolutely nothing. (It’s a GP thing. We like to keep you on your toes.) My foster crew? Oh, they’re a hoot. Two patient adults, two college boys (great for late-night snacks), two cats (meh), and a fellow Great Pyrenees named Mocha, who’s like my partner in crime. Honestly, this place feels like Noah’s Ark—we’re just missing a giraffe. But as grateful as I am for the love and stability here, I’m on the lookout for my FURever home. Ideally, someone who appreciates my majestic fluff, doesn’t mind a little sass, and understands that “independent” is just code for “I do what I want, but love you deeply.” I was born around January 2023, and I’m a sweet, easy-going girl with an abundance of love to give. I’d thrive in a home with a yard, some structure, and humans who get big, lovable dogs with big, lovable opinions. Bonus points if you let me snuggle on the couch and tell me I’m pretty at least twice a day. All dogs and puppies require VISIBLE fencing Adoption fee: $325 (Adoption fee includes spay or neuter, distemper/parvo vaccines, flea preventative, deworming, and health certificate for travel). Adopters pay the cost of transport services outside of Texas area. Transport costs depend on location and company used. Northeast transport fee is $200. The Northwest and Midwest transport fees range from $225-$350. The Southeast transport fees range from $250-$350. GPRS has proudly placed thousands of Great Pyrenees and GP mixes in the PNW for over a decade. Our volunteers have over 100 years combined experience fostering, screening, and placing this majestic breed into loving, forever homes. When adopting from us, you can rest assured that we provide life-long support and advice when it comes to your new family member. As always, our purpose is to find the best match for every unique dog that comes through our doors.
