Demory

My story

Demory is a high energy boy, who will need plenty of space to run and play. With being a hound mix, Demory has a high prey drive and likes to chase small animals. Hounds were selectively bred for their exceptional tracking abilities and keen sense of smell, so his nose is always at work exploring and sniffing everything. Demory will need consistent and ongoing training and would greatly benefit from having a job to do. Interactive toys, puzzle feeders, snuffle mats, training sessions, and scent work games, as well as, regular walks/runs in new environments, playing fetch, and teaching new tricks, all provide mental enrichment to keep him being the best boy he can be. While we are not sure how Demory would do with children, we do know he can be choosey with his dog friends. With having a high prey drive he needs to go to a home without cats. If you have other dogs or children at home, please bring them in for a meet and greet to see if they are compatible.
