My story

Meet the pup who is as sweet as her name suggests; Toffee! If you are looking for a pocket sized girl, she is the girl for you at only 38lbs!Toffee arrived at FVHA as an injured stray, it is suspected that she was hit by a car.This little sweetheart is best described as silly, affectionate, resilient — and an absolute cuddle bug and couch potato! Despite what she`s been through, Toffee has a never-ending happy-go-lucky spirit and smile on her face. When Toffee arrived at FVHA, it was clear she was in need of medical attention. Our amazing veterinary team determined she needed FHO surgery on both of her hind legs. She is now healed from her surgeries and ready to take on the world!Toffee has been in foster and has a great understanding of basics needed to be a great canine companion! She is housebroken, and crate trained. She has also been learning to play fetch. Along her journey we have discovered that Toffee would prefer to be an only dog! Toffee is dog social, and does well playing with other dogs - but is best as the only dog living in the home.
