My story

Did you have a security blanket growing up, or maybe a weighted blanket or a super-duper soft, favorite fluffy robe as an adult? Having something soft, snuggly and reliable can reduce stress, bring comfort and increase our sense of well-being. We would like to offer our sweet girl Butterfly as an alternative to the traditional blankie! Who needs a security blanket when you have a warm, soft, squishy, cuddly Butterfly?!A volunteer friend shared the following about this sweet girl:“I took Butterfly and her kennelmate out to a play yard today. Butterfly is a very funny little girl! She was a little nervous with dogs barking in kennels all around her; but once in the yard she just wanted to be by my side for snuggles! She put her head on my knee and we just sat together and enjoyed each other`scompany. She`s an easygoing, relaxed girl. She has a very nice “sit” and she takes treats with a gentle mouth. Butterfly has the softest squishiest little neck that she loves to have gently massaged! She just LOVES to snuggle!” Butterfly shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has mostly kept to herself when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She’d like to meet any potential furry roommates to ensure it’s a good fit and will likely do best in a home without cats.
