Come meet me during our events Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM - 4 PM at the Homeward Trails Manny Law Adoption Center, 11116 Fairfax Station Rd, Fairfax Station, VA. KNOWN WITH DOGS: Patches is very interested in chasing and wrestling other dogs. He is very dedicated to playing and may not always pick up on their cues, so he might need to be reminded to take breaks. KNOWN WITH CATS: We do not currently know how Patches is with cats. If that is needed, let us know and we'll work on getting that information! KNOWN WITH KIDS: We are not sure how he does with kids, though he can be jumpy when excited. KNOWN CUES: Sit, Default Sit, Down. KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING &/OR CRATING: Patches returns to his crate with treats and settles nicely after a while, though may bark when people and dogs go by. KNOWN LIKES: Treats, snuggles, sniffing, other dog friends. KNOWN DISLIKES: When canine companions don't want to play. ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Patches came from one of our rural shelter partners. He has learned so much since he's joined us at Homeward Trails, including a very polite Sit (sometimes without being asked) and Down. He can be very energetic with other dogs, but surprisingly calm and cuddly with his human friends. You'll be surprised at how thick and soft his coat is, but Patches will not be surprised at how much you want to pet and cuddle him - it's one of his favorite things. He loves hanging out with his dogs friends, especially those with a rough-and-tumble playstyle that matches his own. But at the end of the day, Patches favorite thing to do is hang out with his favorite human friends - could that be you? Patches was neutered during his stay at Homeward Trails.
