COURTESY POST Meet Oracle (Orrie) - The Charming Blue-Eyed Hound Mix! About Oracle:  Oracle is a delightful 1.5 Year old hound/lab mix with a personality as captivating as her unique blue eye. At just 9 months old, this sweet girl has already mastered the art of winning hearts and bringing joy to everyone she meets. With her distinctive appearance and cheerful demeanor, Oracle is sure to make a lasting impression. Personality:  Oracle is the epitome of friendly and affectionate. She loves nothing more than curling up on the couch for snuggles or embarking on adventures outdoors. Her beagle heritage gives her a playful and curious nature, making every walk a new adventure. Despite her energetic spirit, she has a gentle and loving side that shines through in her interactions with both people and other animals. Special Traits:  Oracle's one blue eye is a charming feature that sets her apart and gives her a magical, almost mystical quality. It adds to her already endearing personality, making her a true standout. She’s also incredibly smart and eager to please, which means she’s quick to learn new tricks and commands. She's currently working on not jumping up on her people to give them love and kisses. Foster Care:  Currently in a loving foster home, Oracle is thriving and showing off her wonderful qualities. She’s well-adjusted and ready to find her forever family. She gets along well with other dogs and is good with older children, making her an ideal companion for a variety of households. Ideal Home:  Oracle would be a fantastic addition to any home looking for a loyal and loving companion. She would thrive in an environment where she can get plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and, of course, lots of cuddles. PLEASE SUBMIT AN APPLICATION AT: https://havenanimalrescuenebraska.org/adoption-application We do not have a facility. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals.
