Simba

My story

Simba and his housemate, Kulo (listed separately), were brought to UAF when their family had to suddenly move and the new location did not allow cats. Simba is a big handsome boy who is affectionate and sweet, though cautious. Of the two cats he is more reserved and takes his time becoming comfortable with new surroundings and people. He tends to let Kulo take the lead. He does like to explore and loves to play with toys, especially springs. He is okay with other cats and has adjusted to living with dogs. He, like the dogs, expects to be given a treat occasionally. Simba is starting to express himself vocally, which he hadn't done initially. He likes to give head butts just like a big lion (might be where his name came from). Simba and Kulo are best friends and would do best in a home together. They tend to like sleeping at night in the same large cat tree. Simba is a 3-year-old, long hair, brown tabby who is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, is neutered and is microchipped. Our adoption fee for one altered adult cat (1 year to 7 years old) is $85 and for two altered adult cats is $105 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues. If you have any questions or to adopt a cat from United Animal Friends (UAF) an application must be filled out. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home.
