Teddy (Big Ted)

My story

The only thing bigger than Teddy's head is his heart. This love bug wants nothing more than to snuggle with you on the couch and get all the pats and scratches. While he is up for a walking adventure anywhere, he is also content to nap in an office setting all day. Ted loves jumping, but not in the way you'd expect. when he has a case of the zoomies, he jumps around the back yard, jumping over anything he can! While Ted needs some work correcting his counter surfing, he is a quick study and has mastered many commands including sit, wait, down, here, and leave it. But don't just take our word for it. Here's what his foster mom has to say about Teddy: Ted truly just wants a snuggle buddy. He prefers our small dog bed and will wedge himself in and stay there for hours. When on the couch, if he's not under the blanket with me, I'll make sure to give him his own to burrow underneath. He has excellent commands. He waits to exit the car, enter through a door or eat his food as long as you prompt him to wait. He knows sit, down, stay, leave it, and we've been working on "make good choices" 😂. He is a zooming machine when in the backyard and loves jumping while zooming. He really enjoys crinkle toys, loves walking, and will do anything for a treat. He is excellent in the crate! He goes in without problem, doesn't bark or whine, and has no reaction if you get up in the middle of the night. Truly best crated dog we've ever had (and we've had over 20 fosters).
