Sparkle

My story

Hello, my name is Sparkle.  I was living with my Dad up until last summer when he had to go to an assisted living home.  When I came to Eleventh Hour Rescue, I was put right into a foster home, and have been there for the last 6 months.  I am now ready to find my Forever Home.  Is that with you?  Here is a little about me.  I am 18 years old, and declawed (done when I was a baby).  I have the softest fur that you will ever pet, and absolutely LOVE sitting in laps throughout the day and night!  I enjoy my alone time as well, and mostly spend it sleeping in my bed.  I get along well with other cats, as my foster mom has 2 of her own, and I also am good with children of all ages, so I can go to a home with any ages of kids.  Once, I even sat and listened to a little one read a book to me, it was a good story.  The thing that I am looking for the most is a nice warm lap that I can cuddle with most of the day.  It is my FAVORITE activity!!!   From Foster Mom:  Sparkle is so affectionate and loving.  She seems to be losing her hearing, so sometimes she meows really loudly, but there isn't anything wrong, she is just trying to get your attention.  Sparkle is mostly on wet canned food (Fancy Feast Pate), and has the occasional soft treat (Temptations Meaty Mix-ups). She uses the litter box (Breeze System) well, and takes Fortiflora daily with food.  She had most of her teeth pulled and her front paws declawed.  She does have early stages of Kidney disease, but most older cats do.  For being 18 yrs old, she is extremely playful, and agile.
