My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children.I would do best in a home with only adult humans.I'm sensitive and shy. I'll need extra help from you.I am looking for a home with a patient person.I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.My #BoroughBreak Buddy Writes: Skittles was such a sweetheart! She was so excited to be out and about and found even the simplest things exciting! We were watching the trains go by and she eagerly watched and listened intently to the subway announcements. Once we went to my house, she was so excited to be there that she had the zoomies for 20 minutes! Once she settled, she was the sweetest, cuddliest bug you will ever meet. She fell asleep in my lap and loved the quiet and peace of just watching TV. She needs to be taken home immediately!!A Volunteer Wrote: We defy you to have a bad day with Skittles around, who is all about a good time. What a sweet natured girl! As volunteers have said about her, she's "FUN!" And of course, "a great girl," because she is. She is a blast to let run around the back yard because she's equally happy throwing stuffed animals in the air with abandon as she is to curl up in my lap. She was noted to be dog reactive in the shelter but she was nothing but her lovely self with dogs in the pens around her, wagging her tail in greeting before getting back to play time. She's a joy!
