My story

Beasty is a smart and spirited pup enrolled in our Shelter Scholars program, where he's working on building confidence and improving his responses to on-leash reactivity. Through positive reinforcement training, calming enrichment, and focused leash work, Beasty is learning how to stay grounded and redirect his attention when faced with dogs or distractions on walks. He's making steady progress in developing more polite leash manners and feeling more secure in his environment.What my friends at ACC say about me:I lived with children in my previous home.I am playful and cute!I am excitable and energetic! I will need positive outlets for my energy!I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.Not only do I pull at heart strings, but I also pull on leash! I will need someone to help me with my leash manners.I don't always like to share my food, toys or bedding with other animals.It could be with you!
