My story

Don’t let her age fool you—Sassy may be 7, but she’s still full of energy and enthusiasm! She adores playing fetch (her fetch balls are her prized possessions) and is always up for a game of tug-of-war. When she’s not playing, she’s the perfect work-from-home companion, happily entertaining herself with chew toys or napping by your side.Sassy is also a fantastic adventure buddy—she loves car rides and is learning to stay in the back seat like a pro. Her floppy ears bounce adorably on walks, and she charms everyone she meets with her playful spirit and snuggly nature. After a fun day, she’s all about cuddling up to watch TV with her favorite humans.Sweet, spunky, and full of love, Sassy is ready to be someone’s best friend. Some pets qualify for FREE or reduced adoption fees, please inquire with our Animal Care team to learn more. Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information. ** Please note that some animals will receive numerous inquiries, sometimes more than we can process. We appreciate your understanding and patience. **HOW TO ADOPT: Check the animal’s location.From the Dog Kennels/Dog Isolation/Dog Quarantine (in shelter): To meet this dog, please come to Seattle Animal Shelter at 2061 15th Ave W, Seattle, WA 98119, between 1 – 5 pm one of on one of our open days, no appointment needed. We are open on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. We are closed for adoptions on Monday and all holidays.From Foster Care (out of shelter):1. Copy and paste the adoption survey link into a new tab on your browser: https://www.seattle.gov/documents/Departments/AnimalShelter/Dog%20Adoption%20Questionnaire_Fillable.pdf2. Download and complete the dog survey.3. Save the survey to your device with a new file name that includes your last name. Make sure it`s filled in when opened again.4. Put the name of the dog(s) in the Subject Line of a new email. Attach your survey, add any additional information you would like us to know, and send to sasfosterado
