Chico’s journey began when he was found wandering near the shelter. After his owner made the difficult decision to surrender him, Chico has been thriving in foster care, blossoming into a lovable, energetic companion who’s now ready to find his forever home. This charming pup has a lot to offer. He absolutely adores playing with his much larger foster brother—a 70-pound dog—proving that size doesn’t intimidate him one bit. Chico is a big fan of benebones and ball-chasing sessions, and he’ll happily spend his time racing around the yard (getting him back inside might require a little coaxing). When he’s not on the move, he’s likely standing in front of a heat vent, basking in its warm breeze, or showing off his adorable habit of dancing on his hind legs for treats or attention. Chico is as well-mannered as he is playful. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, both big and small, and is fully potty trained as long as he’s kept on a schedule. He’s great on a leash, making him the perfect partner for walks or outdoor adventures, and he’s even trustworthy enough to be left out when you’re not home. Oh, and pillows? Chico has a particular fondness for them—you’ll often find him cozied up, claiming one as his own.
