My story

Meet Lulu, a playful and affectionate 30-pound Pit Bull mix pup (estimated DOB 6/1/24) who’s ready to find her forever home! Since moving to a foster home, Lulu has been thriving and showing off her fun-loving personality. Lulu might be a little shy when meeting new people, but with a little patience and some tasty treats, she quickly warms up and becomes your best friend. She loves attention and enjoys playing with people and other dogs. She lives with a 14-year-old boy and loves spending time with him. Lulu is crate-trained and sleeps comfortably in her crate in the bedroom. She is also house-trained and lets you know when she needs to go outside. This energetic girl enjoys running around the yard, playing with toys, and showing off her zoomies. She also loves to bone to chew on. Lulu already knows how to sit and is eager to learn more. Despite her playful side, she also loves being held and cuddled—her soft fur and sweet nature make her irresistible! Lulu is a vocal pup who tends to have a loud bark when she feels unsure, but once she realizes everything is okay, she settles down. She would do best in a home with lots of activity and exercise, ideally with a fenced yard where she can run and play. Another playful dog in the home would be a bonus! If you’re looking for a loving, fun, and energetic companion, Lulu could be the perfect match for you! Her adoption fee is $100 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
