My story

This gorgeous, big chocolatey head is so kissable! Hershel is estimated to be about 2 years old and he is 55 pounds of love. Hershel is a sensitive, attentive, and playful sweetie who can’t wait to be a part of a loving family. He just craves affection and loves to lean into you, what a snuggle bug. The silly ladies at the rescue like to put all kinds of funny props on him, what a good sport he is about it, he is like, whatever! He is very engaged with you and can be a bit goofy too, which is the best! Hershel really likes soft toys and releases them with a soft mouth, good boy. Adventures are one of the things he loves too, when one of the volunteers takes him for a day trip, he is great in the car, loves meeting new people, exploring and it's especially exciting if the day ends with a pup cup! With a playful and sometimes jumpy personality, Hershel will need his future owners to help with that and also help build his confidence. He will need a leader who he can rely on. If you're looking for a very loving dog with a big heart, Hershel is the one for you! He will need an adult only home. If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Hershel would love to meet them. He has an excited approach with other dogs that moves into “all in” play.
