My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.I'm ready to learn! I need a patient person who has the time to work on training with me.I prefer to call the shots and enjoy coming to you when I'm ready for pets.I would do best in a home with only adult humans.A Volunteer Wrote: Magnus won the hearts of a staff member and me within ten minutes flat--which is how long it took for him to go from scared in his kennel to doing a happy dance in the yard, chasing a toy. It's as if he never knew such fun was possible! And when he jumped up on the bench beside us, asking to be snuggled and pet, it was total heart-melt time. Magnus is one of those dogs who may be understandably stressed in the shelter, but we can see him in a home thriving--and quickly! He was so playful with the dogs in the adjacent pens, and spent his time trying to decide whether he wanted to play with them, play with the ball, or do tricks for treats, and in what order.
