Auggie`s Compatibility:Dogs - Meet & GreetCats - Looking for a feline-free homeKids - Yes, 12+Auggie was found as a stray and briefly adopted, but the fit wasn’t quite right. He’s back now, looking for a fresh start with someone who understands that great dogs don’t always come perfectly packaged. He’s friendly, playful, and lights up when he gets to ride in the car or meet new people. He did wonderfully at the vet and truly seems to enjoy being part of the action.Auggie does have a unique quirk—he’s easily fixated by lights, shadows, and reflections. Sometimes they overwhelm him, and he’ll jump or chase until redirected. But with structure, patience, and enrichment like puzzle toys and scent games, he can stay focused and calm. He wants to do well. He just needs someone to guide him. He’s strong on leash, so continued training will be important, and he’ll need a home without cats. Kids 12 and up would be the best fit, especially those who can respect his space when he needs a moment to reset.Auggie may not be for everyone, but for someone patient, kind, and open-hearted, he could be everything. He’s trying his best. He’s learning every day. And he’s so ready to be someone’s dog. Come meet Auggie and see what a special dog he really is!
