My story

Meet Shiva, a 5-year-old sweetheart with the gentlest soul and the kindest eyes. This mellow, low-to-medium energy girl loves peaceful strolls, rolling in the grass, and soaking up all the love you’re willing to give—but she’s just as content relaxing on her own. Shiva is house-trained, non-destructive when left alone, and sleeps peacefully through the night without a crate. She’s quiet as can be—you might not hear a single bark—and takes treats gently, showing no signs of food aggression or resource guarding. Despite being very food-motivated, she patiently waits her turn and will even let you take toys right from her mouth. Shiva enjoys the company of other dogs and shows a calm curiosity around small animals, including tiny dogs, so she may do well in a multi-pet home. She’s also met kids and was polite and gentle, making her a great fit for families of all ages, including those with young children or elderly relatives. Shiva walks nicely on leash, looking to her person for reassurance if she gets unsure, and she’s already mastered “sit” and “down” with plenty of potential to learn more. Bath time isn’t her favorite, but she handles it well—yes, even those tricky paws and her head! One of her cutest quirks is happily rolling in the grass, sometimes forgetting to shake off the clippings. Above all, Shiva is a calm, loving companion who just wants to be near her people, whether that means soaking up belly rubs or quietly laying nearby.
